Our approach to your care
At your consultation Alan will listen to your concerns and wishes and carry out a full assessment of your teeth. He will discuss the treatment options which are most suitable for you, your teeth, your lifestyle and your budget. This will allow you to make a fully informed choice.
You will then receive a written report confirming your orthodontic treatment options, the estimated length of treatment with costs for your consideration.
A clinical report is sent to your general dentist for information.
If you decide to go ahead with treatment then specialist x-rays are normally required.
Your initial appointment would be for taking records (photographs and impressions) of your teeth and jaws.
At your next appointment we would then begin the fitting of your appliances.
Check ups are usually every 4-6 weeks.
Alan adheres to the rules governing the profession under strict guidance from the General Dental Council (GDC) ”Standards for Dental Professionals.”
